If you’ve attended the ATA Trade Show for last few years, you might remember that a special Buyer Day began in 2020. Because the in-person version of the show didn’t happen in January 2021 due to Covid-19 (it was replaced with an online show), this is only the second time the Show will feature Buyer Day.

In a recent article on the Archery Trade Association website, ATA Communications Manager Cassie Gasaway provides a detailed refresher on “what Buyer Day is, why it’s important for the industry, and how to plan your time at the Show regardless of your badge type.” I encourage you to check out Gasaway’s entire story, but I’ll recap a few of her main points here in case you’re pressed for time.

  • Buyer Day restricts the ATA Trade Show floor to verified buyers and exhibitors (red and yellow badges) on the first day of the event, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022.
  • Buyer Day is set aside to ensure that buyers and manufacturers can focus on writing orders, business planning and evaluating new products. In other words, the Show floor is less busy, meaning those in attendance can get more done.
  • Show floor hours during January 7 Buyer Day is 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.
