Mission Crossbows shooters claimed all six podiums at the recent ASA Pro/AM in Augusta, Georgia, and IBO Triple Crown in Pipestem, West Virginia.
Both major competitive archery tournaments overlapped, forcing crossbow competitors to shoot for score Friday at the IBO, then drive about 6 hours (nearly 360 miles) that night to shoot for score Saturday and Sunday at the ASA Pro/Am.
Despite the travel, Mathews Crossbows shooter Jason Wilkins took top honors at both events. His teammates Johnny Heath and Derek Phillips finished in second and third, making it a clean sweep at the IBO Triple Crown on Friday.
At the ASA/ProAm, Wilkins’ teammates Daniel Zintgraff and Derek Phillips tied for second on Sunday. Because there is no tie breaker in the ASA Crossbow Known 45 division, third place was not awarded.
