Team Mathews had another big showing on the ASA circuit, this time at the Mathews Pro/Am in Metropolis, Illinois, June 24-27, 2021, taking seven podium spots across four pro divisions.

“We’ve had an incredible run this season, and dominating our own ASA event is icing on the cake,” said Mathews Pro Staff Manager Derek Phillips. “I think it’s a testament to the accuracy and consistency of our TRX series.” 

Dan McCarthy secured first in the Men’s Open Pro, with Andy Callaway in second. Dan’s wife, Emily McCarthy, finished first in Women’s Open Pro, with Kailey Johnston following in second. Dane Johnson and Remington Boyer claimed second and third in the Men’s Known Pro. Tim Boykin placed third in Senior Pro.

The ASA tournament tour consists of seven tournaments across the country. ASA Pro Division competitors shoot two rounds of twenty targets. These targets vary in distance up to 50 yards, and the five highest scores from the first two rounds qualify for the shoot down to decide the winner.
