Throughout hunting’s history, concealment has been a primary strategy for sustenance. While driven hunts have always been fruitful, so has still-hunting — concealing yourself and lying in wait in areas of activity like funnels, pinch points, water and food sources. Today, concealment is no less important. I learned long ago that the best camouflage is simply not moving, but sometimes that’s easier said than done. I’ve been busted more times than I can count by a doe catching me slowly turning my head to scan to the side. Yes, this still happens occasionally, although I have found quite a bit more success with decades of learning how to do things wrong. Moreover, various products have also enhanced my ability to conceal, get higher, in some cases, both.
Of course, I’m not the only one in need of help here. All hunters can benefit from improved concealment and they often look to you, the retailers, for help in those areas. With concealment such a foundational element to improved hunting success, hunting stands and blinds certainly are a great way to hunt down higher sales. Here are 10 great products and a bonus accessory sure to help you achieve your sales goals.
Rivers Edge Lockdown Wide Treestand
Most treestand seats are a bit compact, similar in width to what you might find in an airplane’s coach seating. While most larger guys like me appreciate something akin to a first-class seating experience, many smaller-framed hunters feel the same way — room is comfort. Hunters who are seeking a bit more room without shelling out the extra cash for a two-person style of stand are sure to be excited about the Rivers Edge Lockdown Wide Treestand.
The Lockdown Wide Treestand boasts a robust TearTuff mesh seat width of 24 inches and depth of 16 inches with an oversized single-person stand platform of 25 inches wide x 32.5 inches deep. Not for the faint of heart, the stand does weigh 96 pounds; however, this is ladder-style stand, not a climber or lock-on, and is designed for all-season mounting. Even better, the stand incorporates Rivers Edge’s innovative patented Lockdown Strapping System, designed for easier, safer, ratcheting-style mounting from the ground. The Lockdown Wide Treestand also features vinyl-dipped parts for quieter hunting, a height- and length-adjustable Ultimate Shooting Rail, tuck-away footrest, and octagonal ladder sections with LadderLock connection technology. Perfectly suited for larger hunters, the weight capacity of the Rivers Edge Lockdown Wide Treestand is 300 pounds, and height to the shooting rail is 17 feet, 1 inch. www.huntriversedge.com
Summit Titan SD Climbing Treestand
Founded in 1981 by John Woller, Sr., Summit Treestands remains among the most sought-after climbing-stand brands in the industry. Their reputation and popularity are well-deserved, considering Summit is largely responsible for shaping the industry’s climbing-stand innovation — product development from all other companies in this stand-type niche pale in comparison. Currently, the Summit Titan SD Climbing Treestand hovers above the rest.
While the Summit Titan SD Climbing Treestand is easy to pack in, weighing just 25 pounds, it’s built for roomy, all-day-comfortable hunting and rated to safely hold up to 350 pounds. Larger than another popular climbing stand, the Summit Goliath SD, the Titan SD boasts seat-frame dimensions of 24.5 inches wide x 38.5 inches deep. The seat cushions measure 12 inches wide x 18 inches long x 2.5 inches deep (bottom) and 12 inches wide x 20 inches high x 2 inches deep (back). Both seat cushions are adjustable and filled with foam padding. The stand also includes zippered, padded arm and shooting-rail covers. Following suit with an oversized seat, the Titan SD features a large foot platform, measuring 21 inches wide x 38.5 inches deep with six platform channels. While the Summit Titan SD is outfitted in Mossy Oak’s Country DNA camouflage for enhanced concealment, it is designed for unshakeable cable-mounting on tree diameters ranging from 8 to 20 inches. The Summit Titan SD includes two coated-steel climbing cables, RapidClimb Stirrups with heel bungees, a utility strap, adjustable backpack straps and more. www.summitstands.com
Muddy Nexus XTL 2-Man Treestand
Whether hunting with a friend, a child or alone (and like the extra room), it’s tough to beat a two-man ladder-style treestand, and the Muddy Outdoors Nexus XTL is a great choice. Perfect for hunters who choose to hunt in pairs or alone, the Next XTL features a fold-up seat platform with outside-only arm rests, leaving the middle of the seating area unobstructed and perfect for stretching out. Of course, the Nexus XTL’s Flex-Tek seat and backrest material make long sits exceptionally comfortable, too! The Nexus XTL’s overall seating dimensions measure 39 inches wide x 19 inches high x 17 inches deep. The Muddy Outdoors Nexus XTL Two-Man Ladder Stand also features a 42-inch wide x 34-inch deep foot platform with footrest, padded fold-up shooting rail, cup holders, accessory hooks and a Hercules Cross Grip Safety System. www.gomuddy.com
Big Game Apex Tripod
Another industry leader, Big Game Treestands, has been helping folks hunt from above for nearly 50 years. Among my personal favorite Big Game Stand products is the Apex Tripod — no tree, no problem! On solid, semi-level ground, tripod stands are a great, inexpensive hunting-stand solution offering the same benefits of treestands with enhanced panning mobility while sitting and peace-of-mind stability.
The Big Game Apex Tripod Stand is an elevated, stand-alone ladder-style hunting platform perfect for using in areas where tree-support simply is not an option. Standing at 12.5 feet at the 360-degree shooting rail, the Big Game Apex is the perfect height to hide a hunter in the canopy of a tree line. The Big Game Apex Tripod features a steel construction, a fold-back shooting rail ideal for bowhunters, 360-degree seat rotation, 36-inch foot platform, seat measuring 19 inches wide x 18 inches high x 14 inches deep and a 300-pound weight rating. www.biggametreestands.com
Trophy Treestands Sky Fort
Headquartered in Winchester, Virginia, and founded in 2019 by Tony Overbaugh, Trophy Treestands is something of a new kid on the block. Even so, don’t judge a book by its cover. Overbaugh isn’t new to the game, possessing roughly 25 years of treestand design, innovation and manufacturing experience. He also currently serves on the Treestand Safety Awareness (TSSA) Foundation Board of Directors, and in just six years, Trophy Treestands has amassed an exceptional reputation for delivering a variety of premium elevated hunting systems. The Trophy Treestands Sky Fort is a great example.
Exceptionally affordable given its capabilities, the Trophy Treestands Sky Fort is an elevated “POD” stand system designed to seat three hunters comfortably in two flip-up seats and a flip-up bench. Constructed of Blendz-In powder-coated steel and weatherproof textilene seats, the Sky Fort is ready to provide exceptionally stable, comfortable hunting experiences season after season. The Sky Fort boasts a 57-inch x 57-inch foot platform, 360-degree viewing and 12 feet of elevation to the shooting rail and 600-pound weight capacity. Hunters may also opt to add a Dead Leaf Camouflage roof or half-blind lower section for better concealment and added protection in inclement weather. trophytreestands.com

Hawk Down and Out Warrior Blind – Chaos Camo
Founded in 2014 and acquired by GSM Outdoors in 2019 (through the acquisition of Mainstream Holdings, including Muddy Outdoors and Big Game Treestands), Hawk, originally a disruptor in treestand innovation, created deafening buzz out of the gate among seasoned bowhunters. Suddenly, premium yet affordable treestands and innovative products like hooks, steps and bow retrievers were widely available and stealing market share, and the reputation for providing reliable, high-quality products followed suit. Today, the innovation continues under GSM Outdoors, and the Down and Out Warrior Blind is a big win.
Designed as a soft-shell, hexagon-shaped panel blind, the Hawk Down and Out Warrior Blind offers season-after-season roomy, highly concealed ground-hunting comfort with exceptional protection from inclement weather. With room for up to three hunters, the Hawk Down and Out Warrior Blind boasts a 6-feet x 6-feet footprint and 6.5-feet center height. Each steel-frame, 600 D soft-shell panel features a 14-inch wide x 15-inch high firearm window and 9 inch wide x 25 inch bowhunting window, and the door includes a silent magnetic closure. Additional features include black interior concealment, Chaos camouflage break-up exterior, accordion-style 5-minute toolless assembly and breakdown and ShadowMesh window curtains with magnetic adjustments. www.hawkhunting.com
Ameristep Pro Series Extreme View Hub Blind
One of the most recognized ground blind brands in the industry, Ameristep was founded by Bob Ransom in 1992. The brand grew legs with tree steps and added hunting blinds in 1998. In 2003, the company added treestands; however, ground blinds remain Ameristep’s meat and potatoes. Ameristep’s greatest focus remains on innovating premium hub-style ground blinds, and the Pro Series Extreme View is well worth your retail space.
The Pro Series Extreme View Hub Blind is Ameristep’s latest and greatest hub-style ground blind, offering full 360-degree viewing through mesh designed to allow interior-to-exterior viewing while maintaining complete concealment from the outside looking in. The Ameristep Pro Series Extreme View Ground Blind also includes a full-size door, 56-inch x 56-inch pentagon-shaped footprint with 77 inches of shooting width, 66-inch center height, silent-slide window adjustments, Black ShadowGuard interior finish, Durashell Plus fabric and Mossy Oak’s Country DNA camouflage exterior. www.ameristep.com
TideWe VisMax See-Through Blind
Founded in 2018, TideWe is another new kid in the hunting blind game, but they have created quite the buzz with directional see-through paneling. The latest example of TideWe’s innovative see-through panel development, the VisMax See-Through Blind, is sure to catch the eyes of your hunting customers; after all, who doesn’t want unobstructed visibility with sustained concealment? The hub-style TideWe VisMax ground blind does precisely that — offering 270 degrees of top-to-bottom one-direction see-through paneling. The VisMax features silent-sliding window adjustability and durable 300D panel fabric with a 70-inch square footprint, 80-inch center height and 88.6-inch overall shooting width. Get your customers into a TideWe VisMax ground blind and they are going to like what they see! www.tidewe.com
Redneck Blinds Buck Palace Platinum 360 6x6 Box Blind
Founded in 2006 as Redneck Outdoor Products producing fiberglass car bodies, and incorporated in 2010 with initial manufacturing of box-stand style fiberglass hunting blinds, Redneck Blinds grew a reputation for premium products rapidly; in fact, their first blinds were delivered to Willie Robertson of Duck Commander/Duck Dynasty fame. Today, the company’s Buck Palace Platinum 360 6x6 Box Blind is a perfect representation of the innovation, attention-to-detail quality and rugged reliability of Redneck Blinds.
True to its name, the Redneck Buck Palace Platinum 360 6x6 Box Blind boasts a full 360-degree field of view through oversized landscape (rifle) and vertical (bowhunting) windows in each side and corner panel. The fiberglass walls and roof not only help mitigate scent, but they also protect hunters from extreme weather while offering comfortable, quiet interior hunting via a carpeted floor, as well as carpeted and foam-layered walls. Surrounding shelves also enhance hunting comfort, offering places to keep ammo, optics, drinks and more. The Buck Palace Platinum blind is available without a stand or with 5-feet, 10-feet and 15-feet stand options, with ladders or stairs, and with or without porch-style platforms. www.redneckblinds.com
Bonus: Rig ’Em Right Hyde 360
As an avid bowhunter, I have been quite a fan of triangular seats, especially larger models with seatbacks. For 2025, the nicest chair I have seen to date is the Rig ’Em Right Hyde 360.
The Rig ’Em Right Hyde 360 Chair includes nearly all of the features I want to see in a premium seat system, including whisper-quiet 36-degree rotation, independently adjustable legs, heavy-duty 900D fabric, quick-drying mesh, removable seat cushion, convenient carrying bag and weight ratings of to 350 pounds (drop) and 500 pounds (static). Sure, at 20 pounds, it does weigh a bit more than some other blind chairs; however, the feature set is quite rich, the build quality is excellent, and I appreciate the more robust chair dimensions, measuring 40 inches high x 26 inches wide x 22 inches deep. The only thing missing is a cup holder, but I can compromise, and your customers probably can, too. www.rigemright.com
