Recurve Shooter Brady Ellison Breaks World Record

The 137th USA Archery Target Nationals was recently held in Richmond, Virginia, and Brady Ellison broke one of his own recurve world records.

Recurve Shooter Brady Ellison Breaks World Record

Brady Ellison (above) took home the win at the 2021 USA Archery Outdoor National Championships in the highly competitive Men’s Recurve division, and broke one of his own world records while he was at it. Ellison shot a 1367/1440, beating his previous record of 1363 and staying five points clear of his Olympic teammate Jack Williams.

Winning the Women’s Recurve title was 17-year-old Casey Kaufhold (above), with a dominant 39-point victory over her nearest competitor.

In the Men’s Compound division, Shawn Vincent (above) won his first professional event in his 12-year career. Vincent held-off multiple world champions to secure the title.

Ellison, Kaufhold and Vincent were all shooting Easton X10 series arrows.
