The new ECHO 308 from Del-Ton, Inc., has been in development for some time and was finally unveiled at the 2015 SHOT Show. The receivers are forged 7075 T6 aluminum and hard coat anodized. The upper is DPMS height with a Picatinny rail and the lower has an integrated trigger guard and standard A2 pistol grip. The handguard is a carbine length knurled free float unit for excellent grip and accuracy.
The barrel is a 16-inch heavy profile CMV barrel with a 1:10 twist rate and a carbine length gas system. The barrel is threaded and comes equipped with a standard A2-style flash hider. It has an A2-style front sight tower. The bolt carrier assembly is phospahted 8620 steel and the carrier interior is chrome lined.
The ECHO 308 is light but is designed to shoot steadily and accurately.
It comes with a standard M4 style adjustable buttstock and a 20-round Magpul PMAG magazine.
