Hornady's new 350 Legend 170gr. American Whitetail is now shipping to retailers in time for hunters to hit the range before deer seasons arrive.

Hornady InterLock bullets feature exposed lead tips for controlled expansion and terminal performance. Bullets used in American Whitetail ammunition feature Hornady pioneering secant ogive design and exclusive InterLock ring – a raised ring inside the jacket that is embedded in the bullets core that keeps the core and jacket locked together during expansion to retain mass and energy.

Like all Hornady ammunition, American Whitetail uses the highest quality cases and primers available. Consistent components translate to consistent shooting in the field.

Bushnell's Harrison, Eusebio Win IPSC Titles

Bushnell team shooters Jessie Harrison and KC Eusebio continued their dominance in the competitive shooting sports at the 2019 U.S. International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Nationals in Frostproof, Florida.

Eusebio took first Overall and first in the Open Division, while Harrison won the Ladies Open Division.

“Another National championship with my Bushnell First Strike 2.0,” Eusebio said. “The Bushnell First Strike 2.0 continues to amaze me! I thank Team Bushnell for all they have done for me and the shooting sports."

IPSC shooters need to blend accuracy, power and speed into a winning combination. Multiple targets, moving targets, targets that react when hit, penalty targets, obstacles, and shooter movement are all a part of IPSC courses. Eusebio, a five-time World Speed Shooting Champion and six-time Open National Speed Shooting Champion, chose the Bushnell AR Optics First Strike 2.0 to quickly and accurately engage the variety of targets along the course.

Lapua's Reeve Wins Title at Fullbore Championships

Team Lapua member Kent Reeve scored a 2223.124 to secure first place at the Sinclair International Fullbore Championships. Reeve shot Berger 30 Cal 155.5 gr Fullbore projectiles, Vihtavuori N150 propellant and uses Lapua .308 Winchester brass exclusively.

The Sinclair International Fullbore Championship, presented by the North State Shooting Club, took place May 18-22 at Camp Butner, N.C.

“This year at Sinclair we had very hot weather and tricky winds, which made for an exciting and challenging match," Reeve said. "I knew my components were up to the task no matter the condition.”

Reeve will compete this August in the NRA Mid-Range Rifle Championships at Camp Atterbury, Ind.

Jones Promoted to Quality Manager at Reno Cerakote

Laura Jones has been promoted to Quality Manager for Reno Cerakote.

Prior to joining the Reno Cerakote team Jones worked for Northwest Territorial Mint & Medallic Art Company for 20 years. Jones worked in various positions throughout her career in the Minting Industry, starting in packaging as an Inspector and leaving as the Quality Supervisor when the facility closed.

Jones began working for Reno Cerakote in 2018, starting as Purchasing/Inventory Control. She was then tasked with developing and implementing a Quality Inspection Department. Within nine months Jones and her team have created inspection and documentation process essential to customer satisfaction and Reno Cerakote’s quality standard. Jones was imperative in helping Reno Cerakote become the Nation’s first ISO:9001 2015 certified Cerakote applicator.

Jones has been tasked to maintain Reno Cerakote's ISO: 9001 2015 Quality management system.
