The Archery Trade Association and the National Field Archery Association recently announced plans for a landmark event in 2026: a multi-day celebration of archery that expands the ATA Trade Show with a national archery competition and a brand new expo for the public. The event will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis Jan. 7-11, 2026, bringing together the archery and bowhunting community for the archery event of the year.
Here’s what to expect:
January 7-8: ATA Trade Show
The ATA Trade Show will move to a 2-day format, continuing as a members-only, B2B event focused on connecting retailers, manufacturers and industry professionals. Attendees will be able to view new products, receive show-special pricing and offers, and meet face-to-face with company representatives. They’ll also have access to exclusive networking opportunities, education and more — a model that has supported the archery and bowhunting industry for almost 30 years.
January 9-11: NFAA Indoor Archery Tournament
In partnership with the NFAA, the Rushmore Rumble archery tournament, traditionally held In Yankton, South Dakota, will take place immediately following the ATA Trade Show. This high-energy event, which draws archers from around the world, will attract target shooters to the year’s most anticipated archery gathering, building on the week’s momentum without disruption to the ATA Trade Show.
January 9-10: Archery & Bowhunting Supershow
Alongside the archery tournament, the ATA will debut the Archery & Bowhunting Supershow, a ticketed public event taking place January 9-10. This new event will attract archery and bowhunting enthusiasts from around the country to see a full line of products from some of the country’s leading archery and bowhunting manufacturers. The Supershow is designed to provide manufacturers with a platform to showcase their full product lines, promote directly to bowhunters and target shooters, and drive customers to their local retailer. These changes are expected to attract even more target shooters and bowhunters while increasing the number of exhibiting companies, helping drive more business to member retail shops.
Archery & Bowhunting Supershow FAQ
The ATA has done a good job including more detailed information about the new event changes on its website; click here to check it out. The following four questions are probably top of mind to many persons reading this article — consumers and exhibitors alike — so they are included here.
Q: Can I buy a bow or product on-site?
A: Yes, when available. Manufacturers bring a sampling of products, often showcasing new, never-before-seen equipment. Some accessories and gear may be available for purchase, but that is ultimately up to the exhibitor.
Q: If I can’t buy on-site, can I place an order to have it delivered later?
A: While that is ultimately up to the exhibiting manufacturer, willing participants will either ship the product to you directly or refer you to a nearby retailer shop for in-store pickup and service.
Q: Will I receive a discount for ordering or buying at a booth?
A: The ATA encourages manufacturers to display or sell products at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP); that said, pricing is ultimately determined by the exhibitor and may vary.
Q: Can I place orders for friends who aren’t attending?
A: Absolutely. You can place an order for anyone, as long as the exhibiting manufacturer allows it.
