Evolution reloader part of Lyman family

Lyman Products has acquired Mark 7 Reloading, adding it to the Lyman brands that include Pachmayr, TacStar, A-Zoom, Trius, and Butch's.

Mark 7 brought change and innovation to the market since its introduction of the popular Autodrive systems in 2015. Since then it has continued to bring new, dynamic advancement to the reloading category with the Evolution, Evolution Pro and Revolution Reloading Systems. Now in its sixth year of operation, Mark 7 has a full line of reloading presses ranging from hand operation to light commercial operation.

“This was a natural fit for us as the Mark 7 brand and products dovetail nicely with our existing reloading products and initiatives," said Lyman president and CEO, Rick Ranzinger. "Lyman Products provides strong manufacturing capabilities and brand recognition that will enable Mark 7 to grow to new heights. We are excited to embark on this new chapter as we continue the Lyman mission to provide innovative products designed by shooters, for shooters, since 1878.”

The Mark 7 employees and management team will continue to stay on and assist Lyman in building the Mark 7 brand. Mark 7 will remain at its Fort Myers, Fla., location, and its products will continue to be made in the United States and assembled at the Florida facility. Many of its parts will be manufactured at Lyman’s Connecticut facility.

Lyman Products has been a leader in developing innovative products for reloaders and shooters for more than 140 years. Lyman’s reloading kits, presses and dies have provided reloaders with all the high-quality equipment they need to start reloading. Mark 7, Pachmayr, TacStar, Trius Traps, A-Zoom Precision Snap Caps, Butch’s Gun Care and Targdots are all under the Lyman brand.

Mark 7 is proud to be the official reloading press of the United States Practical Shooting Association.
