Drury Outdoors Is Giving Away the Farm — Literally

After 30 years in business, Drury Outdoors is saying thanks to its viewers in a way that can only be described as epic. They are, quite literally, giving away a farm.

It all began in 1989 when brothers Mark and Terry Drury released their first title, “King of the Spring,” a 75-minute VHS turkey hunting video. Since then, the brothers have been on a mission to educate and entertain outdoorsmen and women. During 2019, to celebrate their 30-year anniversary in the outdoor industry, Mark and Terry wanted to thank their viewers for their support and encouragement in the biggest way they know how.

The brothers bought a 60-acre farm in northern Missouri, planted food plots, identified stand locations, and plan to hand over the title to the property to one lucky individual at the Archery Trade Association (ATA) Show in January 2020. They’ve also teamed up with some of the biggest brands in hunting and will be awarding monthly prizes throughout 2019 to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

“We’re thrilled that Drury Outdoors wanted to make this announcement at ATA 2019 so our members could hear it first,” said ATA President/CEO Matt Kormann. “Congratulations to Drury on 30 years in business. That accomplishment alone is worth celebrating, and we're proud to help them share this moment with everyone in Louisville.”

Terry Drury is excited for the 2019 celebration. “Mark and I lead blessed lives,” he said. “We get to do what we’re passionate about, and do it with our family and some incredible friends who’ve practically become family. We’re here because of our viewers in the hunting community. We’re thrilled to hand one of them the keys to this property.”

The announcement of Drury’s plan to give away a farm took place in the Scent Crusher booth at ATA 2019. “Drury Outdoors has always been a leader in our industry,” said Scent Crusher CEO Dan Drake. “They raise the bar every year with what they deliver to their viewers, and that translates into product information, press and marketing for manufacturers in the outdoor space. We could not be more excited to be part of what may very well be the biggest customer appreciation event in outdoor history.”
