NASP 2025 National Tournament Schedule Announced
The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) is proud to announce its 2025 tournament dates and student scholarship opportunities. NASP continues to bring safe in-school archery to 1.3 million students annually in 49 states. Since inception in 2002, NASP has reached more than 23.5 million students and over 112,485 adult instructors!
These students look forward to participating in local, regional, state or national tournament events each year. NASP is tremendously excited about the upcoming national tournament series planned for spring 2025.
The 2025 national tournament series will begin with the Western National Tournament to be held at the Mountain America Center in Sandy, Utah, on April 25-26, followed by the Eastern National Tournament to be held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 8-10. The series of national-level competitions will culminate with the NASP Championship Tournament to be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on June 5-7, 2025. Each tournament will include Bullseye as well as the NASP IBO 3-D Challenge competition.
Top teams and individuals will be selected from the combined results of both Western and Eastern National Tournaments to have the opportunity to register for the Championship. In addition, top male and female individual winners from the combined results of both national tournaments will be invited to the exciting NASP Scholarship Shoot-Off to be held at the end of the June Championship Tournament.
In addition to the traditional individual and team scholarships that are awarded at the national events, NASP is delighted to continue awarding up to 120 additional $500 scholarships to be awarded randomly to tournament participants. Simply competing in a Bullseye round will be the "requirement" for the chance to be selected for a $500 award. Upon graduation, archers can apply these funds to any post-secondary education or training program of their choice. This wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our scholarship program sponsors!
NASP President Tommy Floyd said, “2024 was outstanding as we reached more students than ever before. These large national tournaments are the culminating events for thousands of student archers who have been practicing and competing since the fall. It is so rewarding to witness so many dedicated archers taking part in these national tournaments. These are truly something special!
“Thanks to our generous sponsors, we will again be awarding a huge number of randomly selected scholarships at Western, Eastern and the Championship Tournaments. At the end of the season, there will be up to 120 students who will receive post-secondary financial support just for showing up to compete! We thank our incredible sponsors who have made this type of opportunity possible for our participating archers!”
In addition to the (120) $500 random awards, NASP will continue to provide:
Team Scholarships totaling $54,000 — based on combined overall finished results from both National Tournaments:
1st place: $24,000 (24 team members @ $1,000 each)
2nd place: $18,000 (24 team members @ $750 each)
3rd place: $12,000 (24 team members @ $500 each)
Individual Scholarship Shoot-off totaling $30,000 — top five male and female finishers from combined results from both National Tournaments compete at the Championship Tournament:
