The Howa .300 Blackout from Legacy Sports International, part of other new items coming this year, is now shipping. 

The Howa .300 Blackout is featured with a traditional synthetic hunting stock or the more modern Oryx chassis system. New to the Howa mini action line, the .300 caliber has a shorter bolt throw for faster follow-up shots, which is ideal for varmint hunting, deer hunting or youth hunting opportunities due to the low recoil. The Howa .300 Blackout has a suppressor-ready 16.25-inch threaded, capped heavy barrel and is ideal for subsonic ammunition.

MSRP starts at $639. 

Zanders Expands Line, Staff, Updates Website

Zanders Sporting Goods has redesigned its website — www.gzanders.com — the first in a series of subsequent design phases to help streamline menus, simplify navigation and improve functionality to quickly access Zanders’ product selections.

“We’re very excited to debut our new website to our customers,” said Danny Siegler, Marketing Director. “Our website redesign is just another way that Zanders is committed to providing the best purchasing experience to our dealers. With improved search functionality, easy navigation, and much faster speeds, dealers will be able to purchase the products they want even more efficiently than before."

Zanders also has expanded its product lines with more inventory of firearm and outdoor products. Dealers will now be able to choose products from almost two dozen top manufacturers. Zanders offers free freight on any order of $500 with fast shipping.

Additionally, Ryan Oliver has joined the Zanders sales department Sales department. Oliver has a background in firearm sales and logistics, having graduated from Trinidad Junior College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in gunsmithing. After college he worked with Cabela's as a gun counter associate and eventually was promoted to firearms lead, overseeing three departments and 38 associates. 

Styrka Selects Outdoor Outfitters Group

Outdoor Outfitters Group has been tapped as Styrka's sales representative for the Midwestern and North-Central States.

"Outdoor Outfitters Group is a do-it-all sporting goods manufacturer representation company," said Brad Gross, Styrka's national sales manager. "They help their clients increase sales and find new customers through numerous venues, including the Internet, catalog layout, even ad planning and copy. McMillan Sponsors Georgia Guardian Long Range Match

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks is supporting the Guardian Long Range Competition set for May 3-5 at the Arena Training Facility in Blakely, Ga.

Guardian Long Range Competitions are charity events with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Bethany Christion Services' orphan and foster care efforts. Since 2014, the Guardian events have raised more than $750,000 to help orphans and foster children find loving families, and to assist foster and adoptive families through Bethany Christian Services.

This is a three-day event. Friday is a free train-up day, with Jim Gilliland and other experienced shooters covering marksmanship fundamentals, equipment usage and DOPE-gathering instruction. Saturday is the individual match, with shooters organized in squads of 12, and will include steel targets to 1,200 yards and pistol stages. Sunday is the two-man team match, featuring a similar course of fire as the previous day. Multiple trophies and prizes will be awarded for day one and day two performances in various categories.

McMillan is dedicated to providing orphans and foster children with loving and caring homes, and is honored to count itself among the many other industry sponsors of this and other Guardian Long Range Competition charity events.

AmChar Georgia: LE Gun Range & Store Grand Opening

AmChar Wholesale will hold its grand opening May 3-4 for the AmChar Georgia: LE Gun Range & Store in McDonough, Georgia.

“AmChar Georgia is a private store and gun range open only to active and retired law enforcement, military and first responders,” said Tony Dichario, President of AmChar. “We strive to offer a comfortable and exclusive atmosphere to those who have and continue to serve our communities and country.”

Lunch will be served Friday and Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Everyone in attendance 18 years of age and older will receive a free Adco Thumb Saver. Representatives from several manufacturers will be on hand to answer questions and provide product demonstrations.

Door prizes will be given away Saturday from firearms manufacturers such as Glock, Springfield, Taurus, Sig Saur, H&K, American Tactical, Benelli and others. The facility is located at 775 Hwy. 42 North, McDonough, Ga.

Attendees and guests must show credentials at the door.

Graham Brothers Rifleworks Targets Competition, Long Range Shooters

Yankee Hill Machine is branching out with a new division, Graham Brothers Rifleworks, to focus on delivering premiere products for precision marksmen in competition and long-range events.

Graham Brothers Rifleworks will focus on top-of-the-line accesories and equipment primarily for bolt action rifles. The MARC Sport chassis system is the brand’s intial release. Available for Remington and Savage platforms in short and long actions, the MARC Sport can be optioned with an A2 or carbine stock adapter. The chassis features “V” bedding for improved accuracy and will accomodate recoil lugs up to 3/8 of a inch thick.

An integrated thumb rest allows for multiple grip positions for maximum comfort and precision. All chassis’ accept AICS style magazines and feature an ambidextrous magazine release lever. The chassis can also be complimented by two other accessories engineered to work specifically with the chassis. The first and most notable is a handguard that extends the mounting surface of the chassis by 7.5 inches. It features M-Lok accessory mounting, Q.D. sling swivel points at front and rear locations, and is cleared to allow for large objective scopes. The second is an Arca-Swiss rail that accepts a wide array of adapters and accessories made to the RRS standard. All the major chassis components are constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodize.

Krogh New Blaser USA VP Sales and Marketing

Taurus Adds .357 to Raging Hunter Line

Taurus has expanded its recently introduced Raging Hunter big bore revolver lineup to include the .357 Magnum, which joins the .44 Magnum originally released.

The Raging Hunter has a sleeved barrel construction, factory-tuned porting, and a gas-expansion chamber to reduce muzzle rise. It is designed for quick follow-up shots for short- and mid-range big-game hunting. Ergonomics and shooter comfort come by way of the revolver's exceptional balance, lightweight barrel housing, and cushioned insert grips.

It will be available in three barrel lengths — 8.375-, 6.25- and 5.125-inch — with matte black or stainless frame options. The .357 Magnum Raging Hunter is a spurred hammer DA/SA revolver with a seven-round cylinder. The rear sight is fully adjustable for those who favor open-sight shooting, or an optic can be mounted to the integrated Picatinny rail.

The Raging Hunter .357 Magnum currently is shipping to dealers nationwide.
