Kahr Arms has added a fourth pistol to their compact double-action value line, the CT380 chambered in .380 ACP. It joins the CT40, the CT45, and the CT9, unsurprisingly chambered in .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and 9mm, respectively.

The new CT380 has a 3-inch barrel and an overall length of just over 5.5 inches. It has a height of 4.4 inches and weighs 11.44 ounces without a magazine. It has a black polymer frame with steel inserts molded in for added strength and rigidity and a textured grip for a sure hold. The slide is machined matte stainless steel.

The CT380 features the same “safe cam” action and offset recoil lug found on all Kahr pistols, and it has a lock breech and a modified Browning-style recoil lug. It is compact and delivers only light felt recoil which allows for quick and accurate follow-up shots. The rear site is adjustable for drift.

Unlike some value-priced carry pistols, the CT380 has a slide lock-back when the magazine is empty, a feature that many will miss if it’s not present.

The CT380 has an MSRP of $399. The differences between it and the Kahr Premium Series P380 include a conventional rifled barrel instead of a match grade polygonal barrel, a metal injection molded slide stop instead of machined, and the slide has fewer machining operations and simple engravings instead of roll markings.

It comes with one 7-round magazine.
